I was fortunate enough to design the poster for the 2024 SAFILM—San Antonio Film Festival. Heavily inspired by Georges Kerfyser’s French poster for Federico Fellini’s 8 1/2 and the work of graphic artists like Saul Bass, the commemorative 30th Anniversary poster for the San Antonio Film Festival is a bright take on old Hollywood style and typographic play. Along with building on a cohesive brand identity, I wanted to be sure that the colors, typeface, and other design elements were easily translatable to the 10+ design interns we worked with each year.
